GigaSize: sharing large files on the web
Posted on | August 31, 2006 | No Comments
GigaSize is another solution for sharing large files on the web. while basic functionality is very similar to manifold competitors like YouSendIt or DropSend, GigaSize shines especially on its free offerings: users can share any number of files, each of up to 1gbyte size, for 45 days (max. 1 download simultanously), even without registering for an account. premium-accounts – including increased file-size (2.5gbyte) and unlimited parallel downloads – will be available when GigaSize is leaving alpha-stadium. uploads take place within the browser, no need for installing additional tools. compared to other free service-plans, GigaSize combines more storage with unmatched ease-of-use. down- and upload-speed could bet better, though.
