Good luck to getting your profile restored. We need the Myspace Ninja back(<a href='http://ireadnews.net/category/myspace/' rel="nofollow">Myspace</a>)

@CJ: thx for pointing out, didn't notice since I don't get to see the captchas when logged in. deactivated the module until I find something better.

sorry for any inconvenience!

@jordan: agreed, it ain't fair to compare userbase (said so in my original post), but since virb isn't really progressing featurewise, size-of userbase becomes the #1 issue. we're living in a world of myspace-domination, and the best way to change this are decentralized, inter-connected social networks (+ decentralized authentication, OpenID), imho.

about flash/security issues: you've got a point there...still I'ld prefer a open, though not 100% secure system over content-monoculture. but I agree that's debatable...

thx for your comment!

ps. if my words sounded harsh, it's only 'cause I'm really disappointed and wish virb would do a better job kicking myspace' butt!

1 Reason why this blog sucks...big time.

Your comment system is atrocious. It\'s littered with markup issues. The Catchpa is broken and comments get cut off...

Some of your claims were pretty ridiculous and not really fair. If you think about it Myspace has been up since 2003/2004, which is easy to account for it\'s millions of accounts. Virb was in development the latter of last year, and went public earlier this year. It took myspace a couple of years to hit over a million people, just when it started to get popular.

If you researched why Virb doesn\'t support every flash/embed file ever, you\'d understand. It\'s for security reasons due to the fact that malicious attempts can occur from flash files; Which is why they have an approved list of services--The fact that they care about security is light years ahead of myspace. Considering that it\'s common to have your account \
