iPhone – tethered and tied, Part 3
Posted on | October 14, 2008 | No Comments
ok, this is the last one, I promise
…but it’s really worh it – PDAnet (available through Cydia on jailbroken phones, for free) seems to be the ultimate iPhone-tethering-app so far. since I’m on the road for the rest of the week I thought I might as well give it a try…
unlike previously mentioned solutions, PDAnet is not a SOCKS-proxy, but a acts like a wireless router. this basically means that ssh, Skype etc. all work out of the box, with no need to tweak proxy-settings on the PC/Mac.
Thanks to Luca, whose nice overview on useful iPhone-apps included PDAnet!
