Google Patent Search

Google’s latest search-asset indexes 7mio. patents registered with the United States Patent & Trademark Office for full-text retrieval. unfortunately, search-results can’t be sorted by date of issuing, inventor or assignee of patent…(btw, sorting is a feature missing in most common search-engines currently…why is that? f.e., sorting for latest-update would make a lot of sense imho).
